Squamish Nation Constitution Experience
Concept prototypes
Three ways of building the section experience, each one solving depth and transparency differently. They share the same content, so what is being compared is the interaction, not the writing. Everything is greyscale on purpose, visual design comes later.
The Prototypes
Prototype 1
Side by Side
Two scrolling columns. The narrow one is a minimap of the whole draft; the wide one carries the plain-language reading. Clicking into the minimap swaps which is which.
Prototype 2
Spatial Exploration
A space of cards you move around in any direction, clustered by section. Opening a card brings up the draft text, an explanation, or a video slot. The draft-text card is always the most prominent one in its cluster.
Prototype 3
Editorial Layout
Full-height tabs down each side. Opening one slides it across and lays the section out like a magazine — the draft text set large, with the plain-language reading around it.

A note on content
The draft text is pulled from the first draft for review, dated 13 March 2026: 12 sections, 53 numbered provisions, 184 addressable blocks in total.
Everything else is placeholder and marked as such. The plain-language writing, the clause notes, the audio and every image and video slot are stand-ins for content that comes from Point Blank and the Nation. Nothing here should be read as a summary of what the Constitution says.
No Sḵwx̱wú7mesh sníchim has been written by us. The draft says its sníchim sections arrive in a later version, and until they do there is none to show.
